Mentor Graphics Announces New Online Training for PADS PCB Design Customers; Interactive Courses Offered to New Users at No Charge
WILSONVILLE, Ore.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Dec. 9, 2003—
Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq:MENT), the market
leader in printed circuit board (PCB) design software, today announced
the availability of three introductory self-directed courses for
Mentor's PADS(R) PCB design solutions including: PADS-Designer(TM),
PADS-PowerPCB(R) and PADS-BlazeRouter(TM). These courses will help
shorten the learning curve, increase productivity and provide users
with training techniques conveniently at their desktop. The courses,
offered on a global basis, are part of a variety of the educational
offerings available from Mentor's Online Knowledge Center(SM). The
interactive courses include animated product demonstrations and are
offered online, free-of-charge, to new PADS licensees for 30 days from
registration.
Students will learn at their own pace without the need to travel
from their office for instructor-led training. They will gain product
interface expertise as well as knowledge in PCB design workflow.
Detailed lab exercises and quizzes provide users with extensive tool
usage experience and help reinforce the knowledge of PCB design
